About Intech Intech Precision Ltd. is a machine shop located in Brockville, Ontario, serving manufacturing and industrial clients across Canada and North America. Intech offers one-off prototyping and job-lot manufacturing services, specializing in turned metal and plastic parts. Intech can deliver high-volume turned parts up to 1-1/2" diameter with precision, high-quality finish and competitive pricing. Intech also offers inventory management services for clients with regular volume requirements, permitting lower inventory levels with reliable just-in-time delivery. Intech History Intech traces its family roots in the Screw Machine business to the 1930's when Edwin Dowell opened up Hunt Screw & Manufacturing in Chicago Illinois. Edwin and son, Barry Dowell, came to Brockville, Ontario in the late 1940's and started manufacturing Canada's first ball-point pen as Roll-it Products Ltd. The business grew and declined and was briefly silenced in the early 1980's, to be reinvigorated in 1985 by Jeff and Randy Dowell, sons of Barry Dowell. In 1999, the business evolved into Intech Precision Ltd. and continues to be family owned and operated delivering high quality products from its manufacturing facilities in Brockville. |
