Job-Lot Manufacturing

Intech operates a series of Brown & Sharpe automatic Screw Machines capable of high-volume production of turned parts up to 1-1/2" diameter.  Intech can work with most metals and plastics, performing a variety of manufacturing operations.  Intech has a range of partners that can provide polishing, anodizing, plating and heat treating of the finished parts.

How to Get Started

Intech needs to understand the product you want manufactured.  We need to know shapes and sizes, materials, finishes and a variety of other things.  The most critical thing for us is some sort of drawing with dimensions.  Intech can take take your drawings or sketches in almost any format.  Paper drawings or sketches may be sent by fax or mail.  Electronic drawings may be sent by email or other electronic media in the mail.  The more information we have, the better.  From your drawings and other information, Intech can provide a cost quote and delivery lead-time estimate.

Quality Control

An important part of job-lot manufacturing is assurance that the product that gets shipped meets your specifications.  Intech can perform a range of final inspection and testing tasks to ensure the parts are uniform and within allowable tolerances.

Inventory Management Options

If you have a predictable demand for parts, you may want to take advantage of our inventory management option.  We will provide you with periodic (usually monthly) shipments based on your just-in-time requirements allowing you to maintain low inventory levels.  We benefit by operating our equipment at the most efficient job-lot sizes based on your annual demand
